François arrived in the Tarentaise valley in 1984, he moved to Val d'Isere in 1989 as a ski-instructor.
Living and teaching for over 20years in the valley gives him a strong knowledge of the local ski areas
and the teaching techniques required for any individual.
He was a competitor in alpine skiing and discover telemark skiing in 1990.
In 1993 he competed in the world telemark championships, he love that way of telemark skiing.

He is very open-minded and at ease with people due to his extensive travelling over 30 countries on 5 continents. His passion for the mountains has led him to adventure in the Alps, Andes and the Himalayas and also spent seasons skiing in Australia and Chili.

For summer time, he is a wood turner artist and sells his unique pieces to interested parties.
He adores his son and daughter (born in 1997 and 1999)
and enjoys exposing them to many different ideas and values.
He is patient, attentive and a good listener
which enables him to apply his technical knowledge of skiing to the appropriate needs of his clients.
